Public street parking - hourly and daily parking fees

Charging periods and times

From 16 December to 15 January, parking is free of charge on SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS AND PUBLIC HOLIDAYS.

The obligation to pay for an hourly ticket in zones 0, 1, 2, 3 i 4 arises upon the expiry of a ten (10) minute period from arrival at the car park.

The 10-minute grace period does not apply: If payment is made using a prepaid voucher as a means of payment, If a privileged 1,000-hour parking ticket from Article 13, paragraph 4 of the General Terms and Conditions is used, In the case of parking space occupation (in accordance with Article 7, paragraph 2 of the General Terms and Conditions of parking services on regulated public areas and in public garages, or in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of parking in the ports of Opatija and Volosko), If a parking permit for vehicles of persons with disabilities is used in accordance with Article 21 of the General Terms and Conditions.

The obligation to pay for an hourly parking ticket in zone Z1A arises upon the expiry of a sixty (60) minute period from arrival at the car park. The 60-minute grace period applies only to the first hour of parking.

Parking prices for open public parking spaces in the town of Opatija are determined in accordance with the current General terms for parking service at the public parking lots and garages (in Croatian).
